Monday, Monday.....

Great day! Last night, Bob tried to fire his nurses! Typical. This morning found still hell bent on "getting out of here". He is moving around much better and was awake & active til about 4pm. Walking, steadier, shower, shave. The therapist had him log onto his computer to see how he navigated. Well, he aced that.....no kidding! Bob was showing the therapist pictures of the beginning of the trip and he was remembering the details. He still is impulsive and stubborn. All products of the brain injury that he'll need to pass through to recovery. His wheels are turning, they just need to turn in the same direction. Thanks to all... I will never be able to say that enough!

Hi from Oreland

HI Julie and Bob,
All the Henry's are so glad to hear the great progress you are making. Carol is keeping us all up to date.
We are thinking of you often!!!

Hang in there,
Anne

Hope you come home soon!

Hi Julie!
Joe and I somehow lost our password. So happy to hear Bob is making progress. All the neighbors are looking forward to your return. Recovery can be very slow, but as long as it is steady and moving forward. Hang in there and let us know if there is anything we can do to help now or when you return.

recovery happens

Sounds like recovery is in high gear at the moment. Hope the momentum keeps up. Concentrating on Bob getting back to normal is keeping your mind off the disappointment of not being able to finish the tour that I'm sure you planned so long for. Maybe it will happen another year.

Good news!

I am so glad you have the training to understand Bob's stages of recovery -- he sounds like quite the fighter and with you helping him he will get there:-)

Thank YOU for taking the time to fill all of us in on Bob's progress. Give him our best (or if he is online now, he can read this himself!).
